Edge Details

Our quotations include for our standard Arris edge detail (or double chamfer as it’s also known). There is also a variety of other edge details that we’re able to fabricate to complete the look of your work surface if preferred. Take a look at some of the options available below…

Sinks

There are five different sinks for which we can create various apertures within your work surface.

Undermount

Undermount sink cut out whereby the edge to the aperture is polished.

Belfast

Inset Sink

Inset will require an un-polished/sawn cut out as the edges aren’t seen.

Counter Top

Counter Top (for bathrooms) will require a waste hole cut out.

Semi Recessed Sink

Semi Recessed (for bathrooms) will require an unpolished/sawn cut out as the edges aren't seen.

Upstands and Splashbacks

Finish off your kitchen perfectly with matching upstands and splashbacks which can be any height and can include power-point socket apertures and shaping around extractor fans. Depending on the material, they are usually thinned down to 20mm for aesthetics.

Windowsills

To finish off the whole kitchen, the introduction of a granite or quartz windowsill really adds that finishing touch to making your worktop part of the key fixture in your kitchen. The incorporation of a windowsill also gives a fantastic appearance as the reflected light now bounces from two levels.

Pattern Matching

We offer a pattern matching service allowing you to choose which part of your stone the worksurfaces come from. This service we operate for wild materials at no extra charge, other than additional material cost.

Hot Rods

We do not recommend that any hot pans are placed directly onto one of our work surfaces. As a solution, we can apply hot rod grooves and bars directly into the work surface.
