Formed in 2004, Stone Connection has quickly grown to become one of the UK’s largest and most respected companies operating within the stone industry. We specialise purely in the design, supply, fabrication and installation of natural stones such as granite, marble and quartz for a variety of applications around your home.

We have built upon our reputation for providing an extremely high quality product combined with a professional service whether operating as a supply only or a template and installation service to the most discerning clients. This is endorsed by the Silestone manufacture Cosentino, with the accolade of being one of their largest Gold Fabricators in the North of England.

We offer a comprehensive range of bespoke granite, quartz and marble surfaces for your kitchen and bathroom, including natural stone flooring. We also supply stone for commercial surfaces such as bar tops, restaurant tables, food servery counters, and reception desks.

Recently, we have invested in a state of the art modern factory in excess of 12,000sqft which houses some of the latest in CNC machine technology enabling us to manufacture the most complex of work to an extremely high degree of accuracy.

Added to this, we employ a highly skilled workforce consisting of CAD technicians, templaters, sawyers, CNC operators, stonemasons and installers all of whom are dedicated to achieving complete customer satisfaction. In order to maintain our high levels of quality, all our staff receive regular in house training with apprentices attending the highly regarded stonemasonry course at York College. We believe that continuous self-improvement is the key to a smooth running, successful business.

Clive Ingledew

Managing Director
In 2004 Stone Connection (UK) Ltd was born and has now grown to become one of the leading specialists and highly respected companies within the industry. When you first meet Clive you will discover his passion for natural stone and the importance that he places on complete customer satisfaction. With over 30 years' experience within the Stone Industry Clive is able to draw on his wealth of knowledge to deal with the most challenging of projects.

Clive says that 'attention to detail, quality of service and value for money are the fundamental elements to meeting client satisfaction and are the vital ingredients to achieving long term repeat business'.

Amanda Ingledew

Finance Director
Amanda has worked at Stone Connection since the company was formed in 2004. Initially as Accounts Manager becoming Financial Director in 2012. Amanda oversees all company financial and administration matters. Prior to working at Stone Connection Amanda worked in Admin Management and IT training. She has a keen interest in interior design and designed and project managed the refurbishment of our new premises at Wheldrake.

Garry Robinson

Contract Director
Garry joined Stone Connection in the role of Contracts Manager in 2007 having previously worked in the natural stone industry for 10 years. Garry was promoted to Projects Director in February 2015 an continually works hard at delivering the quality of service expected from our clients. He has many sporting interested mainly football, rugby, cricket and golf. Garry is a keen supporter of Leeds United and Leeds Rhinos

Julia Davis

Administration Manager
Julia joined Stone Connection in December 2015, CIPD qualified she has worked in training, human resources and external relations within the public sector. Her initial role was varied covering all aspects of administration, product knowledge and sales. In April 2016 she was promoted to Administration Manager where she oversees a team of administrators and fitters handling Stone Connection's day to day Business. As the Great Grand-daughter of James 'Jimmy' Richardson, England and Sunderland footballer Julia can claim that in her only cameo appearance in a Ladies Charity football match she scored the winning goal! Julia has since hung up her boots and enjoys playing Tennis and Squash.

Andy Fielden

Installation Manager
Andy is our lead template and installation manager who has been with us since the business first formed in 2004. His experience in site surveying and installations is invaluable and he ensures every job is completed to our own and our customer's high standards.

Andy White

Production Manager
Initially starting with Stone Connection in 2011 Andy has been in the trade since he left school and studied NVQ level 2 and 3 Stonemasonry. Starting out as a shop floor stone mason his attention to detail and precision is key to the high level quality workmanship that we offer to our clients. He has since been promoted to Production Manager and runs the entire workshop.

James Shearing

Assistant Production Manager
Starting in 2010 James was already a qualified stonemason at NVQ level 2 and 3, and started out on the shop floor, he then moved up to CNC operator and now works alongside the Production Manager to ensure the workshop is running smoothly

Mark Waite

Sales Co-ordinator
Mark joined Stone Connection in 2017 having spent 15 years as a Kitchen Designer selling bespoke kitchens throughout the UK. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience from within the kitchen industry. He is familiar with our products and the production of Worksurfaces having worked with Stone Connection on many occasions in his role as a designer. We are delighted that Mark was ready for a career change and welcome him on board as our new Sales Co-ordinator.

William Ingledew

Administration Assistant
Will has recently joined Stone Connection working part time to support and enhance his college course in 'City and Guilds Construction and the Built Environment (Level 3).' Whilst he is based within the Administration Team to gain an understanding of the start to finish process he is also gaining experience within the workshop and alongside the fitting teams. Will is a passionate Liverpool FC fan and tries to attend numerous games throughout the season.
