What is City Collection Quartz?

Introducing the City Collection – The City Collection comprises of 10 stunning colours which provide a broad spectrum of choice to compliment any kitchen, available in both 20 and 30mm thickness the range is priced in four price groups which offers a cost effective solution for your worktop requirements. Sample available on request.
The City Collection quartz is a man-made engineered stone formed by combining 90% ground quartz (a natural hard mineral) with 8-10% resins, polymers, and pigments. When combined together this forms a very hard granite-like surface. The appearance depends on how the quartz is ground: Coarsely ground quartz produces a flecked appearance, while finely ground quartz produces a smooth look.
The material is extremely hard and durable, with a glossy sheen. It in non-porous and stain and crack resistant. Quartz does not require sealing. It comes in a wide range of colours and is easy to clean with mind soap, water and a soft cloth.
